Join the NGLCC TGX Initiative, the greater NGLCC community, and Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce as we honor this year's Transgender Day of Remembrance by hosting “Joy Amidst Adversity: Navigating Joy & Pain with Grace” with Misha Safran. Misha (she/they) is the founder of NGLCC Certified LGBTBE® The Center for Empathy and Emotional Intelligence (CEEQ), which focuses on how empathy and emotional awareness enhance relationships at home, work, and in communities. 

In this engaging talk, we’ll explore how joy and pain can coexist, deepening our emotional resilience and enriching our lives. Through reflective exercises, thoughtful discussions, and mindfulness techniques, you’ll discover ways to remain fully present with both emotions without diminishing either.
