DESCRIPTION:The Metropolitan Community College Foundation invites you to join us on January 13\, 2023\, for MCC's Annual Chancellor's Martin Luther King\, Jr. Scholarship Luncheon at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. This year's event will feature keynote speaker Ms. Donna Brazile who has devoted her life to working for progressive change\, responsible governance\, and the advancement of ALL people in a society that is fair and equitable. She will lead us in a conversation on social justice FOR ALL during the 2023 luncheon. Also at the event\, five MCC students will be awarded the prestigious Martin Luther King\, Jr. Scholarship\, a one-year full tuition scholarship at MCC. We will also honor the third recipient of the MCC Alvin Brooks Kansas Citian Inspiration Award\, to Ms. Karen Daniel for her excellent work and dedication to community betterment across the region.\n\n \n\nPlease join MCC and Donna Brazile in January as we honor Dr. King's legacy through this thought-provoking program. All proceeds raised during event will support future scholarships for students studying at MCC's five campuses across the greater Kansas City region.
